Benjamin Novak

Benjamin Novak is an American journalist based in of Budapest, Hungary. He was the co-founder of The Budapest Beacon, an English-language news site covering current events in Hungary. The Budapest Beacon opened a window into Hungary for the English-language through its unique use of English-language video reports, interviews, podcasts, and explainer videos. His reports focus on Hungarian democracy, attacks on the judiciary and civil society, and church-state relations.
